How do I install the tag on my site?
Once you have generated your tag, copy it and paste in in the header of your site. For further details see our Tag Integrations Instructions.

How do I make this data appear in my Google Analytics account?
To get data into Google Analytics, we need your UA ID, and the Custom Dimension Index that you want to use. Once we have those two pieces of data, we will generate a custom tag for you, which you deploy in the header of your site. How is this different for the Google Analytics bot filtering feature?
Google Analytics bot filtering will filter bots that are listed on the IAB known bots and spiders list. Unfortunately, since thousands of new bots are created every day, this list generally contains less than 1% of bots on the internet, representing barely a drop in the bucket of the bots trying to harm your site every day.
