Distil’s Content Protection Network is deployed with dedicated IP addresses. This provides advanced security against web scraping and enables businesses to protect their content servers and databases from being directly visible.
Dedicated SSL Tunnels
Distil’s network supports the use of both UC and dedicated SSL certificates. Additionally, our support team works directly with each client to ensure all SSL certificates are configured and deployed correctly.
Custom Threat Responses
Distil’s can be tailored to send real-time data about malicious web scraping requests back to your servers. This data can be used to generate custom error pages, warnings, advertisements, etc.
Blacklist / Whitelist
Within the user portal, clients have the option to enable custom blacklists and whitelists. This enables a business level decision to block or allow certain IP addresses or user agents. Example:
- Whitelist: 3rd party monitoring service
- Blacklist: IP address of a known competitor
Country Blocking
As part of our anti-scraping suite, Distil offers each client the ability to block web traffic from specific countries. Companies often identify certain countries they are not able to do business with and choose to block them from their content.
